ELECTION READINESS
Voting is your fundamental right and a cornerstone of democracy. The 2024 British Columbia general election will be held on or before October 19, 2024, to elect members of the Legislative Assembly. If you haven’t voted in the past but feel this is the year that you want to take a stand and have your voice heard, visit our election readiness page to find out how you can get involved.
With the health care crisis in BC, we need to share what the new Health Professionals and Occupations Act (HPOA) will create for even less services and health safety in BC. It is increasingly important for all to understand and get involved to collect and share helpful and informative resources.
When we are unsure of the truth, it is important to search. Using FOIs have always been a powerful way to see details that are not always properly shared. If learning how to create and submit an FOI request interests you, find out how you can contribute and support the FOI library team.
We are stronger together, and with the help of everyone we are making positive changes. This is something everyone can do.
